Sarah & I are quickly approaching our 6th anniversary as innkeepers/owners of Scott Station Inn! The Station, as we fondly call her, has a long history of hospitality and service. We are located in the heart of Kentucky on Main Street in Historic Downtown Wilmore! Our neighborhood is designated on the National Register of Historic Places.
Our inn was originally a hotel in the late 1800s providing lodging for folks traveling by train through Scott Station, Wilmore’s original name. If these walls could talk…
Unique & Authentic Destinations in the Heart of Kentucky
We are centrally located in the Heart of Kentucky — surrounded by thoroughbred horse farms, near many of the top bourbon distilleries on the Bourbon Trail, just down the road from Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill (a true national treasure), Historic Camp Nelson, Keeneland, and many more interesting destinations.
Please check out our “Attractions” page for more details or call us for assistance in planning your visit to The Bluegrass Region!
Sarah’s signature muffins topped with almond crumble and our custom glazes are prepared daily! It’s like having a cookie on top of your muffin!!
Hand-made crab cakes are a favorite with our guests! Served with corn salsa, micro greens, and garlic/lemon remoulade. Come stay & dine with us!
Breakfast is definitely the most important meal of the day at Scott Station. Fresh fruits, herbs, cage-free eggs, Sarah’s homemade signature muffins, granola, Kentucky Proud meats, and Trader Joe’s coffees and teas, grace our breakfast tables on a regular basis. Your satisfaction is our goal, and we strive to provide the best table service in the Bluegrass. We offer extended dining as well.
Our guests always enjoy Sarah’s sweet mother’s key lime pie recipe! It is rumored to be the best in the Bluegrass and beyond!!
Scott Station Inn has been serving guests for over two generations. Sarah and I are building on this wonderful tradition of hospitality, and we updated and renovated this cherished landmark for the next generations. Every room has a private, in-room updated bathroom. Our renovated rooms come with queen beds, new memory foam pillow tops, crisp white linens, pillows, clean hard-surface flooring (no wall-to-wall carpet), room-controlled heat and air, and more.
“The bed was better than the Westin’s [Hotel] heavenly bed!” Christine M.
“It takes a lot to WOW my husband and I, but this is exactly the best way to describe our visit at the Scott Station Inn.” Jonda S.
“This was by far the best B&B experience that we have had…Let me just say that the breakfasts were absolutely 5 star.” Eileen D.
